Copyright

Australian Legal Information Institute (ALII)
Type in 'Copyright' in the Search box ... then stand back! As always this is a superb site, but it contains so much detailed information that you must know something about copyright before you can sort out what you want. Visit at least two of the next four sites before you tap into ALII.

10 Big Myths about copyright explained
This is close to a 'must' site. It is short and to the point. While most of the principles contained in this page by Brad Templeton are universal to Berne copyright signatory nations such as Australia, some are derived from Canadian and U.S. law.

Indiana University's Copyright Management Centre
This is an excellent site, which includes the two links immediately above. It is predominently a U.S. site, but most of the law also applies in Australia. If in doubt, type in your query into the ALII search box.

Intellectual Property in Australia

World Intellectual Property Organisation
An amusing little site for those interested in international copyright law.

Copyright Policy of Queens University, Canada
This site highlights the principles of copyright/intellectual property as they apply on university campuses.
